Welcome to the fabled archive of ancient update texts to this humble website. So many large gaps in the dates...
Old Updates
12-9-07: And that's it for me for now. Got rid of quite a lot of backlog, and finished up multiple things. Hope you enjoyed it!
12-7-07: This piece is something I wrote a long time ago, and have finally gotten around to finishing it up, giving it a nice polish, and uploading it. So I call it An Old Tune.
12-6-07: And for today we have Catchy, because it is. Not good at the whole naming thing, really.
12-5-07: Rainfall is today's original, and it is a conceptual sequal to Snowfall, in the sense that they both embody falling water. Bring an umbrella!
12-4-07: Today we have A Quick Jaunt, a cheerful tune with a nice pace. Enjoy!
12-3-07: ...and again! This piece, Astral, is more atmospheric than my usual fare, lending more to a subtle background feel. Hope you like it!
12-2-07: So here you go, another original, this one called Serpentine.
12-1-07: Oh man, the website, right. So, this time it's Haunted Reimagining, and another (more heartfelt) promise to update more frequently. Let's have an interesting December?
5-22-07: Summer's here, so let's see if we can get this going again. New MP3 this time, an original piece called In All Existence.
12-27-06: I've had these ready for over a month now, but then my uploader thingy didn't upload, and then I forgot for a month. So... two new originals, heading back to the more endless, looping style.. Bleak Landscapes, and Forever Final, an homage to the typical style of the battle music in the Final Fantasy series. Enjoy!
10-8-06: Wait, where'd September go? I swear I had it a minute ago... ah well, I've been inspired to re-work Haunted Images into a new form, creating unto the world the remix Haunted Afterimages.
8-21-06: Been a while, but I've got two remixes ready for perusal... Waluigi Pinball (Pool Hall Mix) from Mario Kart DS, and Intense Cave from Dragon Warrior III. The latter of the two is less a remix and more simply an arrangement.. different instruments, different texture, same song.
6-29-06: Uh, happy end of June! Been on vacation for awhile, but I'm back, with one new sequence of Jake's Theme from Advance Wars: Dual Strike, and a whole 6 new MP3 versions of some of my recent originals. I also (hopefully) fixed the silly problems the sequences page was having, but even if not, I also added a plain text version back in, so if it goes haywire again it's all good.
6-2-06: Happy June! Another new original (Goblin Down), and thusly life continues.
5-25-06: One new original today, this one called Haunted Images. Enjoy!
5-18-06: Oh wow, it's been a while. A looooong while. So, looooong story short, I got a new job and had one of those naggingly tough semesters over at the college, and my compositional time took a tiny hit. So I'm hopefully back in action with a new original, Back Alley, and more on the way. Crossing my fingers for my old once-a-week schedule. Hey, it could happen!
1-28-06: After a small break, I return with a new original, Mortimer, and an MP3 version thereof. No, I really don't know why it's named that.
1-8-06: Happy New Year to all! I'm back with a new original called Windy and three new sequences from Dragon Warrior 4: Castle, Casino, and Ragnar's Theme.
12-20-05: Fixed a problem with the sequences page causing it to not work well in Internet Explorer. Then went out of town, so the fairly regular updates I've been fairly regularly updating may not be fairly regularly updated.
12-16-05: Well, this site's been around for three and a half years now, and I was getting tired of the original layout, so I figured it was time for a change. The whole site's been revamped and I'm quite pleased with the result... the sequences page was completely redone and the non-video game remixes on the originals page were moved to remixes where they really belong. If you find any broken link, please mention it.
12-11-05: I've decided to try something new recently... I use random numbers to pick four instruments for me, allow some drums to back it up, and see what I can make! As such, I've made four new originals (found here), and I feel they're definitely worth a look. There's probably more to come, as well... I've got 112 MIDI instruments still to use!
12-4-05: Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts and Conga from IIDX grace the sequences page today.
11-20-05: And today we've got a new remix, called Mist Cave. It's a remix of the cave music from Final Fantasy IV, which I've always felt to be a surprisingly catchy piece.
11-6-05: 5 sequences have been uploaded: Zero-One from IIDX and four assorted songs from Dance Dance Revolution, including Captain Jack by Captain Jack, who passed away recently. May he rest in peace.
10-29-05: Wow, didn't quite mean to not update for three months... well, at least I've got a nice update to make up for it! We've got two new originals: a string ensemblish sort of piece I like to call Stringy and an Extended Mix of Z Dance. On the remix side we've got an updated version of Egypter Than You. Also, I've found some nice remote hosting for my MP3s, allowing me to actually expand upon that front. They'll be getting their own section, and quite a few new entries! Check it out! (side navigation button yet to come)
7-25-05: Two more originals grace this site today. The first, Prologue to a Good Day, is a nice piece meant to loop (and therefore has no ending). The second, Caribou Party, is a celebration of all things Caribou, or something. May they both bring happiness to your ears!
7-6-05: Just one new original this time, a happy little piece called A Walk in the Park. That's all for now, hope you enjoy it!
6-15-05: Er. Ever hit one of those stretches where you never finish anything you start? My pile of half-way completed musics is a bit huge right now, dunno when that'll change. Anyways, I've sequenced Demon from Dark Cloud 2 for your listening enjoyment. Also, check out two new remixes: 7th Hymnal (an arrangement of the church music from 7th Saga), and Kirby, Gladiator (from Kirby Superstar).
4-17-05: Sorry about that, it's been a while since I went a month without updating; I guess I'm just breaking my old records left and right! Anyway, three new originals this time, ranging from simple to complex: Fives, Impromptu Agent, and Hope and Despair. Enjoy!
2-27-05: Three updates this month; that's the first time since last May! This time we've got a new original, Breezy, which is quite enjoyable. Then for my 300th piece(!), we've got a new percussion arrangement, Mallet 300 (an arrangement of DDR's Max 300, mixed with a tiny bit of Max Unlimited), which is possibly one of my dumbest ideas, but actually works pretty well (and keeps the 300 theme going). Then to top things off, a sequence of Frozen Ray, from DDR.
2-17-05: New remix today, called Brinstar Heat!. It's a crossover between Metroid's main theme and Dance Dance Revolution's "Burning Heat!". Much fun. Also, there's an original in the works. It's actually finished, I just have to finish tweaking it and stuff. So it'll be up shortly. And then, I dunno, I'll have to do something neat for my 300th piece or something.
2-3-05: I wish I would update more, but the inspiration is fickle indeed... three new Dark Cloud 2 sequences this time: Battle In The Dark, Carnival Night, and Veniccio. I foresee more music in the near future as well, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
1-1-05: Happy New Year, I hope 2004 went well for you. I've so far officially updated every day this year! I'm sure that'll last until tomorrow.. but for now, here's Up In The Treehouse, a medley of songs from The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy. For the three of you out there who've actually played this, see if you still remember the music! And for the rest, check it out anyway, it's pretty cool.
12-13-04: A pause in updating, but I'm back with a grab bag of fun! In sequences we have Candy from DDR, though it's not the Candy most would recognize. In remixes we've got Battling the Elite Four (Dramatic Mix), the conceptual sequal to my well-recieved Battle With Lance (Dramatic Mix). As for originals, we've got Bendaroo!, a fun little piece that isn't meant to be the next masterpiece. So there you have it, something for everyone! I hope.
11-11-04: One new sequence, Shakin' 31, a happy little 80s techno piece from IIDX. Also, new original! Enjoy.. Lavaflow.
10-18-04: Hey, two fresh remixes this time around:
Talonica (a remix of the Talon theme from Final Fantasy Legend 3) and Yoshi's Island Jam (a remix of Hop! Hop! Donut Lifts from Yoshi's Island). Enjoy!
10-9-04: 3 new IIDX sequences have been added today;
9-11-04: Been a while since I updated.. I've got four new Dark Cloud 2 sequences this time, with more on the way.
8-5-04: A new original for you this time (first in quite a while).
7-13-04: An interesting update this time around.. unhappy with how it's held up over the years, I've totally remade my Super Mario 3 medley. It sounds much better now, in my opinion. Also, I've finished my orchestral remix MP3 of Phantom March. The music has been completely reworked, and has a deeper, darker feel to it. Check it out!
6-17-04: Two awesome sequences this time around: Burning Heat! from Dance Dance Revolution and Cheer Train from Beatmania IIDX.
6-1-04: Well, today marks the two-year anniversary of my website. It's come pretty far, with over double the songs it had when it started. I don't have any songs to introduce this time.. just a little anniversary celebration. Hooray!
5-26-04: Small update, but a good one. I wrote a piece for my mom for mother's day and just got around to uploading it. It's pretty much an inside joke, but enjoyable even if don't 'get it'. ;) So take a peek at "The Mother Song". Plus, I moved my percussion remix of the Mario World opening to the percussion section where it really should've been to begin with.. check it out too, if you haven't already. It's fun. :)
5-20-04: 9 new sequences from a relatively unknown game called MC Kids. The game's an obvious advertisment for McDonalds, but is actually also quite fun, and has a nice soundtrack. Check it out! Also, this makes for my 200th sequence. Neat!
5-3-04: This update is short but sweet.. I've sequenced two songs I frequently see requested (and enjoy immensly myself). Dynamite Rave from DDR and Poke Floats, my personal favorite song from Super Smash Brothers Melee.
4-12-04: Another medley for you, one that's been quite long in the making. Dancing, Dancing is a medley of DDR songs. Also, I've revised the sequence and remix pages, to hopefully make them more navigable.
2-27-04: Here are 12 sequences, some filled with Disney-related goodness, some more Mario-related! We've got Chim Chim Cher-ee from Dancing Stage feat. Disney's Rave, 7 assorted songs from an old NES game called "Adventures in the Magic Kingdom", and the 5-minute long March Caprice for Piano and Orchestra from Kingdom Hearts! In addition, three songs from Paper Mario have been uploaded. Happy listening!
2-13-04: It's Friday the 13th, so I have a completely unrelated update: a sequence of "Tree Spirit Jurak" from Dark Cloud 2, and a new original, "A Stitch in Ragtime". It's the result of my attempts at some decent ragtime music. Enjoy!
12-25-03: A Merry Christmas update for you: a sequence of Silent Hill from Dance Dance Revolution, and a remix of Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies! Enjoy the holidays!
11-18-03: 2 more Dark Cloud 2 sequences, and by request, a sequence from Keyboard Mania: Klungklung 1655!
10-31-03: Happy Halloween! Just in time for the holiday, I have a mallet arrangement of This Is Halloween (from The Nightmare Before Christmas). Also ready for download is the MP3 version of Time to Battle. The Dark Cloud 2 flood should resume shortly.
10-1-03: The next four DC2 sequences are here, as well as a new original, "Technocracy". This update was meant to come sooner, and the good folks at the FCMidi forums were kind enough to remind me of my truancy. It's nice to have fans..
9-16-03: The floodgates open, and the first eight Dark Cloud 2 sequences are now uploaded. Also, I've finished a new original, called "Time to Battle". It's styled after classic RPG battle themes. Enjoy, and happy birthday sis!
9-3-03: A new remix, a tropical number honoring Taloon of Dragon Warrior 4 has been uploaded. There's also an MP3 version of In The Field for your listening pleasure. Also, I have the Dark Cloud 2 soundtrack on order, so when it comes in (later this week) I'll be sequencing a large portion of it. Consider that a flood warning. ;)
8-20-03: 2 more sequences in the archive, both from The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy. Also, recently I've been working on making MP3 versions of my originals, to give them more of a professional sound. The MP3 version of Snowfall is now uploaded, and as it's a new venture, any critique would be appreciated. Enjoy!
8-10-03: Long time no see... I blame a distinct lack of inspiration, and a birthday providing me with many distracting video games. I have a few plans set up for future projects now though, so who knows what the future holds? The present, however, holds two new sequences, both from Dance Dance Revolution.
7-03-03: I finally broke my writers block and pulled out a new original: Snowfall. Any comments or critiques would be greatly appreciated. I've also added five more sequences in, four from Kingdom Hearts and one from Secret of Mana. Also, I've added a guestbook back to the site, so my sister will stop bugging me. =P
6-15-03: Sorry for so few updates. Sadly, summer hasn't been the inspiration I was looking for, and I've hit a major case of writer's block. That said, here's two remixes and four sequences I've managed to squeeze out. I've also added a new section to the page: the Recent Files page will link to all of the most recent files I've uploaded, for those of you who don't want to dig through the archive for them. I'll update it every time I update my web page (which will be more frequent, I swear!)
Ack, too many words!
5-7-03: 5 sequences and a new remix, all from DDR, making DDR the game I've sequenced the most MIDIs for! Of course, I've still done less than a tenth of the total soundtrack...
Oh, and my total pieces surpassed 200. Celebrate!
4-16-03: A single remix joins the archive, but it's twice the size of any other file here, and 17 minutes long, so hey! Take a look! Also, school ends here in half a month, and updates should become more frequent as a result. Horray!
3-27-03: Another 4 sequences, this time not all a grab bag of different games. But wait! An original... medley?
3-7-03: There's 4 new sequences uploaded, sort of a grab bag of different games.
2-27-03: I bring you 19 new sequences today; two from Dance Dance Revolution and 17 from Dragon Warrior 3!
2-03-03: Here's a three course meal of three sequences, two remixes, and an original. Yeah, yeah, and a partridge in a pear tree.
1-18-03: Yeah, I'm still around. I was on vacation for a while there, and I've brought back a new medley for you!
12-27-02: Happy belated Christmas to you all! I've got five new DDR sequences, and I've changed the site around a bit. Cheers!
12-13-02: A triple dose of originals, and possibly more to come.
12-3-02: 3 new sequences and, unexpectedly, a new original (if you can call it that). Another original is waiting in the wings, too, and I'm sure you can't wait.
11-11-02: Hey, there's three new sequences and three new remixes! Go enjoy them!
10-22-02: Added 1 new sequence. And no, it's not the previously mentioned 'huge project', which is on hold indefinately due to technical difficulties....
10-6-02: Added 4 new sequences and a new remix. Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been working on a rather huge project lately, and haven't done much else. Keep an eye out for my next update... it's bound to be interesting!
9-1-02: I made myself a simple banner, moving one step closer to looking vaguely like a real site.
8-29-02: Added another remix, and tweaked the site a bit.
8-25-02: 5 more sequences, this time from Breath of Fire.
8-24-02: Added another pretty neat remix.
8-22-02: Added 6 new Dance Dance Revolution sequences to the mix. Also added a remix I'd suggest checking out. It's pretty neat.
8-11-02: Added 15 new sequences: 14 pieces from Lemmings 2: the Tribes, and a very nice piece from Kirby Superstar. Enjoy!
7-28-02: Ironed out a couple bugs, and added the remix I forgot to earlier. Then I added two more mallet pieces in, bringing my total MIDIs on site to over 100! What a glorious occasion!
7-27-02: Here's a change of pace... 4 originals were added, and a new section was put in, complete with 8 more pieces! Also, the site's infrastructure was tinkered with, so please report any bad links to me.
7-24-02: A single new sequence added. That is all. = (
7-15-02: 8 new sequences, 1 new remix. And hey, sign the guestbook!
7-06-02: 5 sequences were added, and the site is improved upon.
6-26-02: The flood continues. 9 new files are in sequences, 1 in remixes.
6-20-02: The Dragoon flood begins. 10 new files in sequences.
6-7-02: Uploaded four new files: 2 remixes and 2 originals.
6-1-02: Site begins. Will site last? Suuure it will.
