Mallet Ensembles
This page features my many playable mallet ensembles in MIDI form. As such they won't sound quite as nice as other pieces on this site, because they are meant to sound awesome on actual percussion instruments. They are sorted with arrangements first, originals last.

Mallet 300
An arrangement of Max 300 for a septet of percussionists on all sorts of instruments. Not the sanest idea, but it should be playable!

This Is Halloween
An arrangement of This Is Halloween (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) for a percussion sextet, consisting of a marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, piano, chimes/bells/tambourine, and tympani/cymbal/temple blocks

Super Mario World Opening
An arrangement of the opening theme for Super Mario World, written for 8 players on a large variety of instruments.

Final Fantasy Overture
A Squaresoft medley written for 4 players, on Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone
Note: FFO is my only current ensemble performed in front of an audience. The piece was played twice in concert for Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. Both performances were very well recieved.

Pink Marshmallow Clouds
A Kirby arrangement written for 4 players, on Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone

Egyptian Speed Metal
A Mega Man medley written for 6 players, on Vibraphone, Xylophone, Marimba, and three auxiliary percussion lines. The third switches to Glockenspiel partway through. Kudos if you understand the title...

Mozart for Mallets
Mozart's 40th, written for 4 players, on Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone

Down the Midas River
An arrangement of Super Mario RPG's Midas River theme for 4 players on many, many instruments.

-----------

Emptiness
A quintet for Glockenpiel, Xylophone, Marimba, Vibraphone, and Drum Set

"Mallet"
An originally named quartet for Glockenspiel, Marimba, Vibraphone, and Chimes

Carnival
A trio for Xylophone and high and low Marimba.

Dark Carnival
A trio for Xylophone and high and low Marimba... okay, so it's the same as Carnival, only in a minor key. But it sounds so cool that way!

The Sky
A quartet for Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone
